On this hiking route through the Bosque de Pinsapos near Estepona, we will explore the diverse nature of the Sierra Bermeja, ideal for plant and wildlife enthusiasts.

Pinsapos Forest Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Punto Limpio in Estepona and then travel to the Bosque de Pinsapos de la Sierra Bermeja, located in the province of Malaga.

During the hike, we will explore the largest fir forest on peridotite stones globally. Along the way, we will discuss the specific characteristics of this region and the various species that have adapted to its challenging terrain.

Participants will learn about the primary tree and shrub species of the Spanish fir forest and the historical commercial activities in this area. The route also offers views over the Mediterranean Sea and Genal Valley.

The hike lasts approximately four hours and concludes with our return to the starting point.
