On this hiking route through the Bosque de Pinsapos near Estepona, we will explore the nature of the Sierra Bermeja, suitable for plant and wildlife enthusiasts.

Pinsapos Forest Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Punto Limpio in Estepona and depart toward the Bosque de Pinsapos de la Sierra Bermeja, located in the province of Malaga.

During the hike, we will explore the largest fir forest on peridotite stones globally. The tour will include information about the characteristics of the region, as well as the species that have adapted to the challenging terrain.

We will learn about the primary tree and shrub species in the Spanish fir forest and the historical commercial activities in the area. The route also offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Genal Valley.

After a four-hour hike through the Bosque de Pinsapos de Estepona, we will return to the starting point, concluding the tour.
