After picking you up from your hotel in Merzouga at the designated time, we'll begin our journey to Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty and one of the holiest cities in Morocco. We will drive for 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) past impressive landscapes until we reach this ancient spot.

Upon arrival, you'll see the majestic Kasbah and the vibrant traditional city souk. Rissani is particularly lively on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays when the market is open, making these days ideal for shopping and experiencing local culture, as the souk serves as a meeting point for surrounding villages.

During our visit to the souk, you'll discover a variety of products and traditional handicrafts, including sheep and exotic spices. This market reflects the everyday life of Rissani's residents, providing opportunities to meet locals and learn about their customs.
