Eze Guided Tour

We'll begin our guided tour through Eze, starting from the town's fortified gate dating back to the 14th century. Here, we'll pause to appreciate the Eze coat of arms bearing the inscription "Isis Moriendo Renascor,” translating to "I was reborn when I died." We'll explore the history behind these words as we enter the Old Town of this Provençal city in Cote d'Azur.

Leaving the city entrance, our journey takes us to Place du Planet, and we continue to Château des Riquiers, where we find the Town Hall and the History Museum, featuring tools, clothing, weapons, and documents related to the area's history.

Our next stop is the Santa Cruz Chapel from the 12th century, showcasing a collection of frescoes and a 1515 altarpiece painted by Luis Brea.

Continuing, we'll visit the Exotic Garden of Eze, home to over 400 species of plants and cacti, along with sculptures by Philippe Richard. Here, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the French Riviera.

After 1.5 hours of exploring the gardens and Eze, we conclude our tour at the neoclassical Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Church, constructed in the 18th century.
