At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Breiðdalsvík and hop in a jeep. We'll set off towards the forests in East Iceland to see the wildlife that inhabits this part of the country.

During this safari through the Breiðdalsvík Valley, we'll see the wild reindeer that live in East Iceland, the only part of the country where wild reindeer are found. We'll explore the scenic valleys where these animals roam in search of food.

We'll spend 4 hours travelling through landscapes while learning about the reindeer. As we drive the jeep through the valleys and forests, we'll discuss how the reindeer arrived in Iceland at the end of the 18th century and adapted to the local climate.

It'll then be time to drop you back at your hotel, where we'll finish the activity.
