Have a fun day enjoying Faro's marine life! Get the chance to see dolphins as we explore Atlantic waters and Ria Formosa Estuary. With a little luck, we could even see sharks, whales, and various bird species!

Faro Dolphin Watching Tour

At the selected time, we will meet at Faro Marina, where the group will board the tour boat. We will start by heading into Ría Formosa Estuary, known for its incredible landscapes. Then, we will proceed into open water to search for local aquatic mammals. Dolphins may approach, allowing you to see them up close and learn about these animals.

If we are fortunate, we might also see sharks and whales. Abundant local bird species will be present as we navigate Atlantic waters, providing numerous photo opportunities. Commonly spotted bird species in this area include northern gannets, shearwaters, and skuas.

After 2.5 to 3 hours of exploring, the boat will head back through Ría Formosa Estuary and return to our starting point.
