Description

This Faro tourist train will take you on a 50-minute tour around the most important sites of this city in southern Portugal while learning about them through the audio guide available aboard.

The train ride will start at Praça Dom Francisco Gomes and will first tour the city's old town and sites such as the Cathedral of Faro, the Episcopal Palace, and the statue of Alfonso III.

We will continue onboard until we reach the Museum of Faro and the Natural Park of the Ria Formosa, a notable birdwatching spot. The recorded commentary in English provides information on the places we pass by.

The train will take us to the church of São Francisco, the Faro Market, the church of Carmen, and the Regional Museum of the Algarve.

After 50 minutes aboard the Faro tourist train, we will end the tour at Praça Dom Francisco Gomes.
