Ria Formosa Bike Tour

We'll meet at 8:30 am at Passeio Abu Sào Ibn Harune, where we'll distribute the bikes for our ride along the charming Ria Formosa, one of the most beautiful natural sites in the south of Portugal.

This bike tour allows us to explore a protected area in an eco-friendly way. We'll cycle along the coastline of the Algarve, traveling through the Ria Formosa Natural Park while enjoying the coastal scenery and fresh air.

As we pedal, we'll notice a soft salty breeze, indicating our arrival at the salt flats of the Ria Formosa. Here, we'll observe some native birds, and then continue our ride through marshes, canals, and islets.

Eventually, we'll reach Praia de Faro, where you will have free time to relax. Optionally, you can enjoy a refreshing drink on one of its terraces while admiring the sea views.

After this break, we'll return to Faro, taking in more of the surrounding nature.

We will arrive back at the departure point by 11:30 am, concluding the tour.
