Ria Formosa Bike Tour

We'll meet at 8:30 am at Passeio Abu Sào Ibn Harune, where we'll distribute the bikes for our ride along the charming Ria Formosa, one of the most notable natural sites in the south of Portugal.

A bike tour is an excellent way to explore a protected area in an eco-friendly manner. We'll cycle along the coastline of this area of the Algarve, through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, enjoying its coastal scenery and fresh air.

As we pedal, we'll begin to feel a soft salty breeze, indicating we've reached the salt flats of the Ria Formosa. Here, we'll observe some native birds, then continue our ride through marshes, canals, and islets.

Eventually, we'll arrive at Praia de Faro, where you'll have some free time to rest. You can relax on one of its terraces and enjoy a refreshing drink while admiring the sea views.

After this break, we'll take the route back to Faro, taking in more of the wonderful nature surrounding us.

We'll arrive at the departure point at 11:30 am, where the tour will conclude.
