Ria Formosa Bike Tour

We'll meet at 8:30 am at Passeio Abu Sào Ibn Harune, where we'll distribute the bikes for our ride along the Ria Formosa, one of the natural sites in the south of Portugal.

A bike tour offers an eco-friendly way to explore a protected area. We'll cycle along the coastline of the Algarve, moving through the Ria Formosa Natural Park while enjoying the coastal scenery and fresh air.

As we pedal, we'll notice a soft salty breeze, indicating we have reached the salt flats of the Ria Formosa. Here, we'll observe native birds, followed by a ride through marshes, canals, and islets.

Eventually, we'll arrive at Praia de Faro, where you'll have some free time to rest. You can sit on one of its terraces and enjoy a refreshing drink while admiring sea views.

After this break, we'll return to Faro, taking in more of the surrounding nature.

We'll arrive at the departure point by 11:30 am, where the tour will conclude.
