At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul to begin this tour through the history of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul.

During the tour, we'll explore the arrival of Italian immigrants from Lombardy, Veneto or Tyrol during the second half of the 17th century, and how they formed the first colonies.

We'll visit the Galópolis neighbourhood, passing by historic English-style houses and learning about the region's industrial and textile history. Next, we'll travel along the old Rio Branco road to the Grutinha Winery for wine and juice tastings.

The tour continues with a visit to the Stone Church, one of the oldest stone churches in Caxias, and the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, noted for its revitalising energy. We'll also visit the memorial and historic houses of the Bonnet Family, showcasing colonial architecture.

To conclude, we'll visit a local agro-industry for samples of biscuits, sweets, breads, panettones, and regional German cucas, with free time for lunch. The tour lasts a total of 6 hours.
