Join us on a historical tour that explores the connections between Rio Grande do Sul and Italy, including a visit to a mate-making facility.
Excursion to Gramado
We'll spend the day exploring the heritage left by the settlers in Rio Grande do Sul. Our first stop will be at Casa Centenária Ferrari, a wooden house surrounded by meadows and mountains. Inside the house museum, we'll take a tour of the rooms and learn about the history of its first inhabitants and their connection to the founding of Gramado.
Next, we'll hop back on the minibus and head to Ervateira Marcon to witness firsthand how yerba mate is processed, a type of tea and the region's most iconic drink, rooted in indigenous culture.
After that, we'll visit the Fioreze Museum, which contains a collection of objects reflecting the daily lives of the first settlers of Gramado, including scales, old photographs, typewriters, and kitchen utensils.
Then, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch featuring typical Italian delicacies, including salami, sausages, cheeses, bread, and a dessert, with coffee to finish off the meal.
