On this excursion starting from Caxias do Sul, we'll explore the widespread worship of Buddha in southern Brazil. Our first stop will be the impressive Khadro Ling Buddhist temple, followed by a visit to the charming town of Igrejinha.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at the indicated time, and head south of the city.

Our first stop will be at the Khadro Ling Buddhist Temple, one of the major Tibetan sanctuaries in Rio Grande do Sul. The temple, established in the 1990s, is home to a small community that maintains it.

After an introduction to the temple's history, you'll have three hours of free time to explore this sacred site. The sanctuary is surrounded by abundant vegetation that promotes relaxation and meditation.

Next, we'll visit Igrejinha, developed in the late 19th century by the German immigrant population. You will have another three hours to appreciate the town's Germanic heritage, indulge in the local cuisine, and shop for handicraft products.

Finally, we'll reconvene in the center of Igrejinha and return to Caxias do Sul, arriving at your hotel around 7 pm.
