On this excursion starting from Caxias do Sul, we will explore the widespread worship of Buddha in southern Brazil. Our first stop will be the impressive Khadro Ling Buddhist temple, followed by a visit to the charming town of Igrejinha.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 9 am and head south of the city.

Our first stop will be at the Khadro Ling Buddhist Temple, a major Tibetan sanctuary in Rio Grande do Sul, established in the 1990s. It is maintained by a small community.

Following an introduction to the temple's history, you will have three hours of free time to explore this serene site, surrounded by abundant vegetation conducive to relaxation and meditation.

Next, we will visit Igrejinha, which developed in the late 19th century due to the German immigrant population. You will have another three hours to appreciate the town's Germanic heritage, indulge in local cuisine, and shop for handicraft products.

Finally, we will reunite in the center of Igrejinha and return to Caxias do Sul, arriving back at your hotel at around 7 pm.
