Day Trip to Imigrante, Estrela, & Colinas

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Caxias do Sul and travel to Imigrante, one of the surrounding towns that we'll visit during this excursion.

In Imigrante, we'll explore local beekeeping practices, focusing on the stingless bee breeding by residents and tasting their products.

Next, we'll head to Estrela and visit the Berwagner still to learn about the European immigration to the area.

Continuing to Colinas, we'll discover the House of Artisans and Colonial Products, which produces jams, spices, and handicrafts. You'll have an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll return to Imigrante to visit the Horst cactus nursery, the largest greenhouse of its kind in Latin America. We'll also explore the Boaventura convent, built in the 1940s, featuring a medieval-style chapel.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 7:30 pm.
