Day Trip to the Itaimbezinho Canyon

We'll kick off this excursion by picking you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 9 am. Our destination is Cambará do Sul, a gateway to the Parque Nacional de Aparados da Serra.

Our first stop will be at the Itaimbezinho Canyon, which translates to "sharp stone" in Tupi-Guarani. It stretches for nearly 6 kilometers (3.75 miles).

We'll start by trekking along the Vortex Trail, a three-hour hike that offers various viewpoints of the canyon. The trail includes an Araucaria forest, showcasing the region's typical flora.

After reaching the end of the Vortex Trail, we'll take a break. Then, we will hike the Cotovelo Trail for another 30 minutes. You will have one hour of free time in Cambará do Sul to have lunch at a local restaurant.

As the day ends, we will return to Caxias do Sul, concluding the tour at 7:30 pm, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
