If you happen to be in Caxias do Sul and craving a day of nature immersion, look no further than our exciting excursion to the breathtaking Itaimbezinho Canyon. Join us as we explore the picturesque Vórtice and Cortovelo trails, two scenic locations that are sure to leave you in awe.

Day Trip to the Itaimbezinho Canyon

We'll kick off this exciting excursion by picking you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at 9 am. Our destination? Cambará do Sul, one of the gateways to the breathtaking Parados da Serra National Park.

Our first stop will be at the majestic Itaimbezinho Canyon, one of the park's prime highlights. It stretches for nearly 6 kilometers (3.75 miles).

We'll start our adventure by trekking along the Vortex Trail, a three-hour hike that will present various angles of the canyon from its many viewpoints. We'll also pass through an Araucaria forest along the way.

Once we reach the end of the Vortex Trail, we'll take a break. Afterward, we'll trek along the Cotovelo Trail for another 30 minutes. You will then have an hour of free time in Cambará do Sul to grab lunch at a local restaurant.

As the day draws to a close, we'll head back to Caxias do Sul, concluding the tour at 7:30 pm, where we'll drop you off at your hotel.
