Day Trip Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Istanbul, we'll head to the airport you have selected to board one of the first flights to Izmir. In about 60 minutes, we'll reach our destination.

Once we land, we'll take a vehicle to Ephesus. Our first stop will be the House of the Virgin Mary, the last residence believed to have been occupied by the mother of Jesus Christ. The building is well-preserved due to restorations.

Our visit will include the ruins of Ephesus, dedicated to Artemis, and the Odeon, where the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celso, the Agora of Smyrna, Marble Road, and the Theatre once stood. This open-air museum reflects the Roman Empire's influence in Europe.

After enjoying a buffet-style lunch, we'll head to the Temple of Artemis. Currently, only the ruins exist, built in honor of the Roman goddess, and this site is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. We will discuss its significance for the citizens of Ephesus.

You’ll also notice the blend of cultures in the area, exemplified by the Isa Bey Mosque, featuring an impressive marble facade.

Afterward, we'll return to the airport in Izmir for your flight back to Istanbul. Once we land, we will drop you off at your hotel.
