Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and head to the airport you have selected to board one of the first flights to Izmir. The flight duration is approximately 60 minutes. Upon arrival, we will transfer to Ephesus, starting with the House of the Virgin Mary, the believed last residence of the mother of Jesus Christ. You will learn about the significance of this well-preserved building.

Next, we will tour the ruins of Ephesus, dedicated to Artemis, including the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celso, the Agora of Smyrna, Marble Road, and Theatre. This open-air museum reveals the history of the Roman Empire in Europe.

After a buffet-style lunch, we will visit the Temple of Artemis, currently marked by ruins but once one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Here, we will discuss its importance to the citizens of Ephesus. You will also explore the blend of cultures represented by the Isa Bey Mosque with its marble facade.

Finally, we will return to the Izmir airport for a flight back to Istanbul, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
