Visiting the Topkapi Palace is essential for anyone in Istanbul. The entrance ticket allows you to witness the opulence of Constantinople during the Ottoman Empire era.

Meet at the specified time inside the Chimney Bistro Restaurant, near Topkapi Cafe. From there, you will walk to the monument and enter after passing security controls. You will have the freedom to explore the palace at your own pace.

Constructed shortly after Mehmed II took Constantinople, the Topkapi Palace features four courtyards and multiple buildings, including the Treasury, Harem, Imperial Mint, and Baghdad Kiosk. An audio guide, available on your mobile device, will provide information about various aspects of the palace, including the relics of Muhammad and valuable artifacts.

Skip-the-Line Tickets

With skip-the-line tickets, you will bypass the main visitor line but must still go through security checkpoint lines.

This is not a guided tour. Visitors can arrive at the meeting point between 9:30 am and 4 pm every 30 minutes, where an English-speaking guide will lead you to the palace entrance and assist in downloading the English audio guide. You will then explore the palace independently. Afterward, you will regroup at the entrance to the Harem, following provided instructions to avoid additional charges for entry.
