Your journey begins with a pickup from your specified hotel in Fernando de Noronha. From there, we will head towards Morro São José and initiate our hiking route to uncover the island's hidden gems. Let’s set off!

During low tide, a stone path emerges from the sea that we will follow to ascend the hilltop. Depending on ocean conditions, this segment of the excursion can alternatively be experienced through swimming. It promises to be an exhilarating experience!

Once we reach the island, the hiking tour will commence under the guidance of an ICMBio-certified guide, essential for navigating the challenging trail. We will take in the breathtaking volcanic scenery and you'll have plenty of opportunities to capture photos of this remarkable location. Additionally, we will have a chance to refresh ourselves in a natural pool, renowned as one of the most picturesque attractions in the vicinity.

After approximately two hours of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Fernando de Noronha, concluding our adventure.

ICMBio Reservation Requirements

Participation in this hiking tour necessitates scheduling an appointment with ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation). This appointment must be completed in person by visitors who have already purchased an entry ticket to the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park, as online reservations are not permitted.

It is advisable to secure your appointment on your arrival day. The trails can be reserved up to 6 days in advance, and each visitor is allowed to book for a maximum of 6 participants. You will only be able to register for this excursion once you have made an appointment with ICMBio.
