Pedra Alta & Pontinha Viewpoints Hike
When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following routes. Both options include hotel pickup and a Portuguese-speaking guide, and both require a reservation with ICMBio.
4-hour Route
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head to Vila do Trinta to begin the hike. The route follows the coast of Mar de Fora for about 2.3 miles (3.7 km), showcasing various volcanic rocks until we reach the viewpoints.
At both locations, you can admire the views of the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha and its geographical features. We will also stop at some natural pools to swim and explore the marine biodiversity.
The hike concludes at Caieira Beach, and we will return you to your hotel after the tour.
5-hour Route
After hotel pickup, we'll start with a 3.1-mile (5 km) walk to Vila do Trinta. Our first stop will be at Atalaia Beach, where you will receive instructions for snorkeling in its natural pool while observing the local marine fauna.
We will then proceed to the viewpoints of Pedra Alta and Pontinha for stunning views before visiting additional natural pools for swimming.
The hiking tour will end at Caieira Beach, after which we will return you to your hotel.
