The ticket to Castle Voltaire in Ferney-Voltaire gives access to the home where the intellectual spent his last 20 years. The town was renamed to honor the famous philosopher. Behind the neoclassical façade, there is a museum dedicated to Voltaire, showcasing his private collection of artwork and allowing visitors to explore his library and office, where he wrote works such as Candide and Treatise on Tolerance. Visitors can also enjoy the French-style gardens, which span seven hectares.

Final admission is 45 minutes before closing time.

Admission to Castle Voltaire is free for the following individuals:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

To acquire free admission, you must go to the ticket office and present a certifying document of eligibility. Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, between November 1 and December 31, and the third weekend of September.
