From one of the liveliest places in the city to an abandoned village. On this tour of the Fethiye market and Kayaköy, we'll discover the contrasts of the Turkish southwestern coast.

Description

At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the most famous market in Fethiye. Ready to get to know the typical products of this part of Turkey?

In just a few minutes we'll arrive at the Fethiye market, the largest market in the province of Mu?la. Spices, fruits, vegetables, traditional sweets, handicrafts... It's the perfect place to mingle with local people, discover their daily life and to buy souvenirs. You'll enjoy two hours of free time to shop at the best price and practice your bargaining with the vendors.

We'll continue the tour with a half-hour drive to the abandoned village of Kayaköy. As we walk among its ruined buildings, we'll tell you the history of this place, built over an ancient Greek city called Carmylessus.

Walking through its streets, we'll discuss its walls which have witnessed events such as fires, earthquakes, and a war between Turks and Greeks.

Between 5 pm and 6 pm, we'll drop you back at your hotel in Fethiye.
