3-Day Trip: Merzouga Desert to Marrakesh

3-Day Trip

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

We will collect you from your hotel or riad in Fez and proceed to the Merzouga Desert, passing through Ifrane and Azrou. The tour will continue through the Ziz valley and gorges until we reach Erfoud. That evening, enjoy a camel ride in the Merzouga desert, with an optional quad tour available. After dinner, we will rest at the Haimas Camp.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todgha Gorge – Dadès Gorge

The second day begins at sunrise atop the Merzouga dunes followed by breakfast. We will then head towards the Todgha Gorge before ending up at the Dadès Gorge for dinner and overnight stay at a nearby hotel.

Day 3: Dadès Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakesh

After breakfast, we will travel to Ouarzazate to visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. After lunch and photos, we will pass through Amazigh villages in the Atlas mountains. We expect to arrive in Marrakesh around 6 PM.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Fez. If staying within the Medina, meet your guide at the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud).

Day Trip Accommodation

During booking, choose between Standard (2 or 3 stars) or Superior (4 stars) accommodations.

Standard Accommodation:

Superior Accommodation:

Types of Bedrooms

The standard haimas accommodate up to 4 people, and the superior haimas up to 5, both with private bathrooms. The camps are separate, differing in food and decoration. Note that not all have wifi, and air-conditioning in luxury camps incurs a 30 EUR fee per person. During high season, standard category camps may have shared bathrooms. Single occupancy is not allowed without a supplement. Triple or family rooms and haimas respecting the same categorizations are available.
