3-Day Trip: Merzouga Desert to Marrakesh

3-Day Trip

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

We will collect you from your hotel or riad in Fez and head towards the Merzouga Desert, passing through Ifrane and Azrou. The journey includes traversing the Ziz valley and gorges until we reach Erfoud. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride through the Merzouga desert, with an optional quad tour available. You will spend the night at the Haimas Camp.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todgha Gorge – Dadès Gorge

The day starts atop the Merzouga dunes at sunrise, followed by breakfast. We will then proceed to the famous Todgha Gorge and later visit the Dadès Gorge, where we’ll have dinner and stay at a nearby hotel overnight.

Day 3: Dadès Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakesh

After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Ouarzazate to explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. You will have free time for lunch and photos before continuing through Amazigh villages to Marrakesh, arriving around 6 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Fez. If staying within the Medina, proceed to the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud) to meet your guide.

Day Trip Accommodation

During booking, choose between Standard (2 or 3 stars) or Superior (4 stars) accommodation.

Standard Accommodation:

Superior Accommodation:

Types of Bedrooms

Standard haimas accommodate a maximum of 4 people, while superior haimas can accommodate up to 5. Both have private bathrooms. Note that not all camps offer Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning costs an additional 30EUR per person. In high season, shared bathrooms may apply for standard category. Single occupancy is unavailable; a supplement applies for individual bookings. Triple or family rooms are available in both categories.
