Fez Private Sightseeing Tour

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel or riad in Fez, proceeding to the city center for a private tour of the old town, focusing on the Old Medina on foot.

Key attractions include the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. The tour will visit the old madrasas, including Koranic schools and lodgings for foreign students, as well as ancient inns, and the Quaraouine mosque-university, noted as the first multidisciplinary university.

We will also explore residential neighborhoods such as the Al-Andalus and Quaraouin neighborhoods, observing sites like an ancient hammam, public wood-burning oven, fountain, mosque, and children's nursery.

Insights into the narrow streets and cultural aspects reflecting local life will be shared. The Old Medina will showcase crafts such as leatherworking and weaving.

After lunch, a panoramic tour of Fez will commence in a car or minibus, contingent on group size. Highlights include the Royal Palace and the Mellah, Fez's Jewish neighborhood, followed by views at Borj Sud.

The tour will conclude after 6 hours at either Rcif Square or Oued Zhoun Square, allowing for further exploration. The itinerary can be adjusted based on your interests.
