Fez Sunset Tour

On this panoramic sunset tour, we'll visit Fez at the best time of day. We'll explore the main attractions of the Moroccan city as the sun sets.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the main entrance to the Lycee Moulay Idriss. There we'll start this panoramic tour of Fez that will take us to see its most important attractions at dusk.

Our first stop will be at the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the main access to the Medina of Fez.

We'll continue the panoramic tour to the Medina, where we'll visit its main attractions. We'll pass by the Royal Palace of Fez to contemplate its gates, which is one of the largest and oldest in Morocco.

The next stop will be the Mellah, the Jewish quarter of Fez, where we'll discuss its history as we walk through the narrow streets and past the former luxurious cloth markets.

The tour will continue in the area of Borj Sud, where we'll enjoy views of Fez with the sunset in the background. Then we'll head to the potters' quarter, where we’ll observe traditional Moroccan pottery making and learn about Fez's early sewage system from the 10th century.

After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll end the tour back at the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate.
