On this panoramic sunset tour, we'll visit Fez at the best time of day, exploring the main attractions of the Moroccan city as the sun sets.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the main entrance to the Lycee Moulay Idriss. There we'll start this panoramic tour of Fez that will showcase its important attractions at dusk.

Our first stop will be at the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the famous blue gate and main access to the Medina of Fez.

Next, we'll continue the panoramic tour to the Medina, where we'll visit attractions including the Royal Palace of Fez, renowned for its magnificent gates. We will share legends related to this large and historic building.

The tour proceeds to the Mellah, the Jewish quarter of Fez, named after the Arabic word for 'salt,' a valuable commodity in ancient times. We will discuss the Jewish community as we walk through the narrow streets and pass by the former luxurious cloth markets.

We will visit Borj Sud for stunning views of Fez at sunset. The tour concludes in the potters' quarter, where we will observe traditional Moroccan pottery being made and discuss Fez's early sewage system from the 10th century.

After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll end the tour back at the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate.
