Merzouga Desert 2-Day Trip
Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga
After meeting in Fez, we'll leave for the Moroccan desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll pass through Ifrane and Azrou, known for their Amazigh culture. Next, we'll navigate the Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges towards Erfoud, initiating our desert experience to Merzouga.
Upon arrival at our camp via camel ride, we will have a traditional dinner under the stars in the Moroccan desert.
Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Alni - Tizi N'Tfrkhin - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
We will arise early to experience the sunrise in the Erg Chebbi desert. Afterward, we'll head to a hotel for breakfast and showers (depending on the selected camp). We will depart for Marrakech, passing through Tafilalet's palm grove and the village of Rissani.
We will continue over the acacia plateaus and through the Anti Atlas mountain range, reaching Alnif, Tinghir, and the Dades Valley. Around noon, we will stop at Klaat M'Gouna for a break and traditional Moroccan cuisine before heading to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains, arriving around 8:30 pm.
