Moroccan Henna Experience + Lunch or Dinner

Folklore and tradition come together in this unique experience where you'll get a henna tattoo in Fez and enjoy a meal at an elegant Moroccan palace.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of the Palais Bab Sahra Fez restaurant to begin this unique experience. The activity starts with a short introduction to henna, where you will learn about the cultural importance of the henna plant and how to prepare the paste and apply it to the skin.

This seasonal body art has historically been used to decorate women during social and religious celebrations, symbolizing luck, happiness, and beauty. After discussing the history, participants will create their own personalized designs for application on their feet or hands. The drawing will take around 30 minutes, followed by advice on how to prolong the longevity of the henna design.

Post-application, a meal will be served according to the time of the activity. The menu comprises 7 types of salads, a tajin, seasonal fruit for dessert, along with Moroccan tea and local sweets.

The experience lasts approximately 3 hours and concludes at the restaurant's main entrance.
