Activity Overview

At the designated time, we will gather at the entrance of the Palais Bab Sahra Fez restaurant to embark on this memorable experience during your time in Morocco. Eager to immerse yourself in this cultural journey? Let’s get started!

Upon our warm welcome to the palace, we will enjoy traditional Moroccan tea accompanied by delightful sweets. Next, we will delve into a brief introduction to henna. This segment will cover the cultural significance of the henna plant, along with a demonstration on how to create the paste and understand the basic application technique on the skin.

Interestingly, this seasonal body art has roots in history, where it was traditionally used to adorn women's bodies during social and religious events, symbolizing good fortune, joy, and beauty.

Following this historical insight, we will get creative and design our own custom patterns, which will then be applied to our hands or feet. The application process will take approximately 30 minutes. Once completed, we will receive tips on how to extend the longevity of our henna designs on the skin.

After about 1.5 hours, our activity will conclude at the main entrance of the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future!

Workshop + Lunch or Dinner

For those seeking to enhance their experience in Fez, there is an option to add lunch or dinner, based on your activity timing. After completing the henna workshop, you will be treated to either lunch or dinner. The meal includes seven varieties of salads accompanied by tagine and topped off with seasonal fruit for dessert. Naturally, Moroccan tea and typical sweets from Fez will also be part of the experience.

This extended option has a total duration of 3 hours.
