Private Tour: 4 Days in the Sahara Desert

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga

Your chauffeur will collect you from your hotel in the early morning for the journey to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, including the village of Ifrane and Azrou, known for its cedar forests. Continue through Ziz Valley and arrive in Erfoud before reaching Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 2: Enjoying the Erg Chebbi dunes

On the second day, explore the Merzouga Desert using an off-roading vehicle to traverse the dunes, visit nomad hamlets, and walk along Erg Chebbi. Visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music culture. In the evening, take a camel ride to a Berber tent for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todgha Gorge – Ouarzazate

Awake early to witness a sunrise, followed by breakfast and a refreshing shower in Merzouga. Travel toward Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani and Tafilalet, then visit Todgha Gorge. Proceed to Ouarzazate for the night, traversing the route of the thousand kasbahs along the way.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou. Travel to Marrakech through almond tree valleys and Berber villages, ascending Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass before enjoying a traditional lunch at Tadart.

At the Merzouga camp, both categories have private bathrooms. During peak seasons, standard accommodations may use campsites with shared bathrooms. Single rooms are not available, and a supplement applies for solo travelers. Triple or family rooms are available at varying prices based on category.
