Volubilis, Mulay Idris and Meknes Tour

On this tour, you'll visit three notable places in Morocco - Volubilis, Mulay Idris, and Meknes, making it an ideal option for visitors to Fez.

Description

After meeting at the indicated time at the main door of the Lycée Moulay Idriss, we'll head west to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city known for its significant archeological remains in Morocco.

You can spend as much time as you want here, typically between 1 and 2 hours, to explore the site at your own pace. A guide can be hired at the entrance if desired.

Next, we'll visit Mulay Idris, an important pilgrimage destination. You can see the key parts of the medina in under an hour.

The third stop is Meknes, recognized as the most 'humble' of the four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknes, you'll have free time for lunch and to visit key locations such as the marketplace and city square.

We will then head back to Fez, completing the tour approximately ten hours after it starts.
