Filandia Guided Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet by the Mirador de Finlandia. Once we are gathered, we will start a guided tour of this Colombian municipality with a colonial air.
As we stroll through Filandia's center, you will discover the traditional architecture representative of the Eje Cafetero of Colombia. The flowers on the balconies and the striking facades of the houses are highlights of the area.
During the tour, we will discuss the municipality's origins and history, emphasizing its link to coffee. We will enjoy a coffee in the town's square and discuss local handicrafts such as baskets and hats.
Next, we will visit the Bejuco Interpretation Center, an educational stop about the area. We will then go to Pueblo Indio to explore indigenous culture.
We will ascend to the highest part of the village for panoramic views. Optionally, we can climb to the Colina Iluminada viewpoint, featuring a 27-meter high wooden tower, offering views of the coffee fields.
Finally, the guided tour will conclude after three hours near the starting point.
