Milford Sound Excursion

After pickup in Te Anau, we will head north to Milford Sound. The minibus ride will take an hour and a half, with several stops for photos and short walks to admire the landscapes of southern New Zealand. Highlights include lush forests, Lake Te Anau, Mirror Lakes, and the Eglinton Valley.

Continuing along Milford Road, we will encounter Gunn Lake, Hollyford River, and Falls Creek. Upon arrival, we will board a boat for a 2-hour ride on Milford Sound, a World Heritage Site.

During the cruise, expect to see waterfalls cascading down mountainous walls and possibly glimpse endemic birds, sea lions, penguins, and dolphins.

A picnic lunch will be provided to relax and replenish energy before we return to the mainland. We will make additional stops at viewpoints for photos en route.

The excursion concludes at your hotel in Te Anau, approximately 9 hours after pickup.
