Are you an outdoor enthusiast? If so, you won't want to pass up this hiking adventure through the Azuaje ravine, where we'll unveil one of the most enchanting regions in northern Gran Canaria.

Azuaje Ravine Hike Details

This hiking adventure begins from the Firgas bus station at the scheduled time, exploring the remarkable area in northern Gran Canaria.

Our journey starts in the heart of Firgas, visiting the San Roque church and learning about the history of the irrigation channel. We will stop at a viewpoint for panoramic views that span from the coastline to the island's peaks.

We will then descend into the Azuaje ravine, uncovering remnants of a spa visited by English tourists in the late 19th and early 20th centuries while navigating streams and varying terrain.

Upon exiting the ravine, we will observe local agriculture and livestock. The return journey to Firgas will take us through the village center, where we will explore the Paseo de Canarias, featuring stone replicas of the Canary Islands and their heraldic shields. We will continue to the Paseo de Gran Canaria, admiring the coats of arms of all municipalities along with an artificial waterfall.

After 4.5 hours of exploration, our hiking trip will conclude back at the starting point.
