Cinque Terre Day Trip

Description

Embark on a full-day trip to Cinque Terre, a group of picturesque fishing villages nestled in the Italian Riviera. Begin your journey early in the morning as you board an air-conditioned coach for a scenic 2-hour ride to Cinque Terre, characterized by romantic villages perched on rugged cliffs.

Your first stop is Manarola, the oldest village in Cinque Terre, known for its fishing and viticulture. Next, hop on a train to Vernazza, a charming fishing town where you'll have free time to explore the port. Continue to Monterosso, famous for its long beaches and crystal-blue sea, with an option to admire the views from the water, weather permitting.

Conclude your tour by taking a train back to La Spezia, where the coach awaits to transport you back to Florence, ending at 7:30 pm in Piazzale Montelungo near Santa Maria Novella station.

Lunch at Monterosso

Enjoy lunch in Monterosso at a local restaurant or opt for a tour with lunch included. Menus feature seafood salad, pasta with pesto, and dessert with water or wine. Vegetarian or gluten-free options are available upon request.

Note that lunch is not included in the low season but is optional in the high season (March 25th to October 31st).

Self-Guided Cinque Terre Tour

For a self-guided experience, book a tour that allows you to explore Cinque Terre at your own pace. A bus will take you to Manarola, and you'll have the day to visit the villages as you choose. Transportation between villages is not included.

Your host will indicate the meeting point in La Spezia to return to Florence at the end of the day.

The famous Via dell’Amore trail is temporarily closed, but you'll still enjoy the stunning coastal landscape.Boat trips operate between April and October, weather permitting. Outside these months, the itinerary will use buses and trains.During high season, the duration at each location may vary.
