At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Museo della Misericordia. From here, we'll have priority access to the interior of the Florence Cathedral. This site, protected as a World Heritage Site, is a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance. We will explore its origins, tracing back to a small church in the 7th century and its evolution into one of the largest Cathedrals in the world.

The visit will cover the architectural secrets and the artworks within. Notably, we'll examine Brunelleschi's dome, discussing the construction techniques and materials used. Additionally, we will admire the fresco by Vasari and Zuccaro depicting the Last Judgement, noted for being the largest surface decorated with this painting technique.

Misericordia Museum

This activity includes a ticket for the Misericordia Museum, which can be visited after the Cathedral tour. The museum showcases a collection of pieces related to Florentine history.
