The Malta tourist bus is an effective way to explore key attractions on the island, offering a unique perspective from its open-top, two-floor design.

Route & Stops

The hop-on hop-off bus operates two routes with multiple stops around the island. Passengers can enjoy recorded commentary in English regarding points of interest. The northern route covers areas including Silema, Mosta, Ta Qali, Mdina, and Rabat, while the southern route focuses on La Valeta and the Three Cities: Cospicua, Senglea, and Birgu, along with the Tarxien temples and the Blue Grotto.

How It Works

Your bus ticket is valid for either 1 or 2 consecutive days, allowing unlimited boarding on the buses during that period. You will need to select a start date when booking, but you can commence the service anytime within 12 months from the chosen date. After booking, an email voucher will be sent, which must be presented on the first bus ride.

Schedule & Frequency

Northern Route: daily departures between 8 am and 2:30 pm every 60 minutes.Southern Route: departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, between 9:25 am and 3:50 pm every 60 minutes.
