Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park Hiking Route

On this hiking route through Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park, we'll explore the diverse fauna and flora of Santa Catarina's natural areas.

Description

We will meet at Rua Abelardo Otacílio Gomes in Florianópolis and begin a challenging 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) hike through Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park, known for its biodiversity, including species such as monkeys and toucans.

We will first traverse the Mata Atlântica, reaching the Morro da Coroa viewpoint after approximately 1.5 hours, where we can view the Pedra do Surfista.

After enjoying the views, we will head down to Lagoinha do Leste beach. Here, participants will have 1.5 hours of free time for swimming in the Atlantic and dining at nearby restaurants.

Following lunch, we will regroup for another 1.5-hour hike exploring more highlights of Lagoinha do Leste Natural Park, aiming to spot additional wildlife.

We will conclude our 6-hour hike by returning to the original meeting point.
