MontRubi Winery Visit

We'll meet at the reception of the MontRubi winery at the selected time to begin a guided tour focused on Avellá wine.

For 1 hour 30 minutes, we'll explore the wine culture of MontRubí, a winery with over 30 years of experience in the pre-coastal mountain range of Catalonia, located between 400 and 800 metres above sea level. This altitude contributes distinctive characteristics to their wines.

Accompanied by an expert guide, we'll learn about the winemaking and ageing methods and visit the modernist chalet of MontRubí. During the tour, we will taste a total of 5 different wines to understand the cultivation variations.

Another aspect to be covered is the Gaintus Project, which focuses on the recovery of the Sumoll variety. The tour concludes with a tasting of artisan cheeses and sausages produced at the MontRubi winery.
