MontRubi Winery Visit

We'll meet at the reception of the MontRubi winery at the selected time and we'll start a complete guided tour to discover the secrets of Avellá wine.

Over 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll explore the wine culture of MontRubí, a winery that has been producing wines for more than 30 years in the pre-coastal mountain range of Catalonia. The winery and vineyards are located between 400 and 800 metres above sea level, giving a unique character to their wines.

Together with an expert guide, we'll learn about the winemaking and ageing methods and the modernist chalet of MontRubí. During the visit, we'll taste a total of 5 different wines to understand the distinctions between cultivations.

Additionally, you'll learn about the Gaintus Project, which focuses on recovering the Sumoll variety. The tour will conclude with a tasting of artisan cheeses and sausages made at the MontRubi winery.
