Château de Fontainebleau
The palace features around 1,500 rooms, including the Salon Louis XIII, Salon François I, and Napoleon I's throne room. Important areas to visit include the royal chapels, Pope Pius VII's apartment, Napoleon I's quarters, and the 19th-century galleries. An English audio guide is available for 4 EUR per person.
Napoleon I Museum
This museum showcases a collection from the First Empire (1804-1814), including furniture, art, and artifacts from Napoleon I's rule.
Park and gardens
The park spans 130 hectares, featuring the English and Diana gardens and the Grand Canal. The Fontainebleau tourist train is available for 7 EUR per person for an enjoyable way to explore.

The palace and Napoleon I Museum are open daily (except Tuesdays) with these hours:
April to September: 9:30 am to 6 pm (last access at 5:15 pm)October to March: 9:30 am to 5 pm (last access at 4:15 pm)
Some areas may close early for security reasons. Expect the full tour to take about two hours.
Courtyards and gardens of the palace
November to February: 9 am to 5 pm (last access at 4 pm)March to October: 9 am to 6 pm (last access at 5 pm)
The Diana Garden and the English Garden may close early. Bad weather may lead to closures.
The park is accessible 24/7 on weekdays. The Marrier gate closes from 7:30 pm to 9 am. All hours are subject to change.
