Palace of Fontainebleau
Located in the Paris-Isle de France region, the Palace of Fontainebleau is over an hour's drive or a 40-minute train ride from Paris. Its origins date back to medieval times, but it flourished in the 16th century under King François I.
Your ticket allows you to explore the palace, which features 1,500 rooms, including:

Discover opulent chambers such as the Salon Louis XIII, the Salon François I, and Napoleon I's throne room. Key areas also include royal chapels, Pope Pius VII's apartment, Renaissance rooms, Napoleon I's quarters, and 19th-century galleries. An English audio guide is available for 4 EUR per person.
Napoleon I Museum
This museum features a collection related to the First Empire (1804-1814), including furniture, art, weapons, and costumes from Napoleon I's reign.
Park and gardens
Covering 130 hectares, the park contains the English and Diana gardens, a carp pond, and the Grand Canal. A tourist train is available for 7 EUR per person for exploration.

The palace and the Napoleon I Museum are open daily (except Tuesdays):
April to September: 9:30 am - 6 pm (last access at 5:15 pm)October to March: 9:30 am - 5 pm (last access at 4:15 pm)
Some areas may close early or be restricted for security reasons. A full visit is scheduled for about two hours.
Courtyards and gardens of the palace
November to February: 9 am - 5 pm (last access at 4 pm)March to October: 9 am - 6 pm (last access at 5 pm)
Gardens may close early or during bad weather. The park is open Monday to Friday, 24 hours a day, with the Marrier gate closing from 7:30 pm to 9 am. Hours are flexible and subject to change.
