Pickup is available from your hotel in Arenal. The tour begins with a comfortable vehicle ride to the La Fortuna Waterfall.

The waterfall is accessible only on foot, requiring an approximate eight-kilometre hike through the Arenal Volcano National Park. The first part of the hike follows the La Fortuna River, followed by a vehicle transfer to a viewpoint for landscape views.

The hike continues up approximately 500 steps to the La Fortuna Waterfall, over 70 metres high, where visitors can swim in the crystal-clear pool.

Afterward, a 20-minute walk leads to the Maluku indigenous community, where guests can learn about local culture and visit a Palenke. A meal at a local restaurant follows, located about 10 minutes from the village.

Post-lunch, another hike to the Arenal Volcano traverses a forest with diverse wildlife. At the highest point, there are opportunities for photographs of the volcano and surroundings.

The tour concludes with a dip in the Arenal hot springs, where guests can relax with snacks and drinks. Return to hotels in Arenal is around 7 pm.

This tour involves several hikes, so being in good physical condition is necessary. Comfortable footwear and clothing are recommended.
