Arenal Volcano & La Fortuna Waterfall Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Arenal will be at the arranged time. The first stop is the La Fortuna Waterfall, accessible only by foot. The hike totals approximately eight kilometres through the Arenal Volcano National Park. The initial segment follows the La Fortuna River, before a vehicle takes you to a viewpoint to admire the landscape.

Hiking continues with around 500 steps leading to the La Fortuna Waterfall, which is over 70 metres high and features a pool for swimming. After visiting the waterfall, a 20-minute walk leads to the Maluku indigenous community, offering insights into their culture and a chance to visit a Palenke (main house). A meal is provided at a local restaurant, about 10 minutes from the village.

Post-lunch, another hike to the Arenal Volcano follows, traversing a forest filled with diverse wildlife. At the volcano's highest point, you can capture stunning photographs of the area. The tour concludes with relaxation in the Arenal hot springs, where you can bathe, enjoy a snack, and have a drink.

Return to your hotel in Arenal is expected around 7 pm.
