Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Fortuna and set off toward Arenal Volcano. On arrival at the park, you'll be greeted by the view of the Arenal Volcano, towering above the jungle at a height of almost 5,500 ft (1,670 meters). You'll embark on a hiking route of just under 4 miles (6 km) to the base of the volcano, where you can choose to walk on the solid lava fields from the last eruption. From this vantage point, you'll have views of the renowned Arenal Lake and experience the diverse flora, fauna, and lava formations in the area. After the hike, you'll have some leisure time to unwind or enjoy a meal. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in La Fortuna, where the tour will conclude after a total of 4 hours.

Meeting point

For those staying in hotels in downtown La Fortuna, specifically between the town center and Secondary National Route 142 to Tabacón, pickup and drop-off services are included.

If your hotel is outside this designated area, we'll meet you at the Volcano Travel CR offices located in El Jauuri de Peñas Blancas, La Fortuna.
