After picking you up from La Fortuna, we'll drive to the Tenorio Volcano National Park, where our tour begins. We'll set off on a hike of average difficulty and about a three hour round trip.

On the hike, we'll discover the Celeste River, a stunning deep turquoise blue due to the fusion of two different sources that provide the river with different minerals. We'll marvel at the beauty of this natural phenomenon.

We'll also be accompanied by an expert guide who will tell us all about the wildlife in the area and take us to a waterfall, a viewpoint and the incredible place where the river changes colour.

At the end of the hike we'll recharge our batteries with a typical Costa Rican meal.

After lunch, we'll take you back to the hotels in La Fortuna.

How does it work?

The tour includes transportation from and to the main hotels in Arenal. If a hotel is located outside the La Fortuna area or the main road to the Arenal Volcano, details will be provided on where to meet.
