Visit the Fortuna River Waterfall

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Arenal and travel to the Fortuna River Waterfall Private Reserve. Upon arrival, we'll walk through the forest to learn about the area's biodiversity. After this short hiking route, we'll board a tractor-type vehicle that will take us to a viewpoint overlooking the Fortuna River Waterfall.

From there, we'll walk back up a staircase made up of 500 steps that will take us to the base of the waterfall. During the hike, there will be opportunities to see native animals such as toucans, oropendolas, and butterflies.

Once at the waterfall, we'll admire its impressive 70-meter (230 feet) fall and enjoy a refreshing dip in its waters. After this break, we'll return to the lookout point and head to the Maluku indigenous village, where we'll learn about their culture.

To complete the excursion, we will enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal. After recharging, we'll return to Arenal and drop you off at your hotel 6 hours later.
