Farm Ranch Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am before heading to an agro-ecological farm located about 3 miles from La Fortuna, in a village called Agua Azul.

The inhabitants will welcome us with a delicious natural fruit juice while we observe the work at the farm, focusing on the preservation of traditional culture and the sustainable use of natural resources.

After this presentation, we will visit the stables, where you will have the opportunity to milk a cow. Then, we will learn about the traditional processes of distilling liquor and extracting cane juice while tasting these products.

We will continue with tastings of fruit and artisan cocoa, observing its elaboration with indigenous utensils. A visit to an ecological medicinal plant garden will also be included.

To conclude the experience, we will enjoy a tasty lunch made of farm products, such as cheese, tortillas, picadillo, and coffee. We will leave with the feeling of having been authentic Costa Rican farmers for a day.

We will arrive at the hotel in La Fortuna around 2 pm.
