Farm Ranch Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am before heading to an agro-ecological farm located about 3 miles from La Fortuna, in a village called Agua Azul.

The inhabitants will welcome us with a delicious natural fruit juice while observing the work that goes on at the farm, focusing on the preservation of traditional culture and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Following the presentation, we will visit the stables for a chance to milk a cow. You will learn about the traditional processes of distilling liquor and extracting cane juice with product tastings.

We will also sample fruit and artisan cocoa, seeing how it is made with indigenous utensils. Additionally, we will visit an ecological medicinal plant garden.

To conclude, we will enjoy a lunch made of farm products, including cheese, tortillas, picadillo, and coffee. We will return to the hotel in La Fortuna around 2 pm.
