Farm Ranch Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am before heading to an agro-ecological farm located about 3 miles from La Fortuna, in a village called Agua Azul.

The inhabitants will welcome us with a delicious natural fruit juice that we will enjoy while observing the work that goes on at the farm, which focuses on the preservation of traditional culture and the sustainable use of natural resources.

After this presentation, we will visit the stables, where you will have the opportunity to milk a cow. Then, we will gain insights into the traditional processes of distilling the liquor and extracting the cane juice while we taste these products.

We will continue with tastings of fruit and artisan cocoa, observing its elaboration with indigenous utensils. We will also visit an ecological medicinal plant garden.

Finally, we will enjoy a tasty lunch made of farm products, including cheese, tortillas, picadillo, and coffee. We will leave with the feeling of having been authentic Costa Rican farmers for a day.

We will arrive at the hotel in La Fortuna around 2 pm.
