Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 10 am, after which we will travel to an agro-ecological farm situated approximately 3 miles from La Fortuna, in the quaint village of Agua Azul.

Upon arrival, the locals will greet us with a refreshing natural fruit juice, allowing us to enjoy the scenic surroundings while learning about the farm's operations. The farm promotes the preservation of cultural heritage and emphasizes the sustainable utilization of natural resources.

Following this introduction, we will explore the stables where you’ll have a chance to milk a cow, an experience that delights younger visitors. Next, you'll observe traditional methods of distilling liquor and extracting sugar cane juice, accompanied by a tasting of these artisanal products.

Our taste journey will continue with an assortment of fruits and chocolate made from artisan cocoa, during which we’ll see how these delicacies are crafted using indigenous tools. Additionally, we will plan to visit a unique garden dedicated to medicinal plants.

To wrap up this enriching agro-gastronomic experience, a delicious lunch featuring farm-fresh products such as cheese, tortillas, picadillo, and coffee awaits you. You'll depart with the feeling of having spent a day as a true Costa Rican farmer.

Expect to return to your hotel in La Fortuna by around 2 pm.
