We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am before heading to an agro-ecological farm located about 3 miles from La Fortuna, in a village called Agua Azul.

The inhabitants will welcome us with a delicious natural fruit juice while we observe the work on the farm, which focuses on preserving traditional culture and the sustainable use of natural resources.

After this presentation, we will visit the stables, where you will have the opportunity to milk a cow, a fun experience for children. Then, we will gain insight into the traditional processes of distilling liquor and extracting cane juice with a tasting of these products.

We will continue by tasting fruit and artisan cocoa, learning how it is made with indigenous utensils. We will also visit an ecological medicinal plant garden.

To conclude this agro-gastronomic experience, we will enjoy a lunch made of farm products, including cheese, tortillas, picadillo, and coffee. We will leave feeling like authentic Costa Rican farmers for a day.

We will arrive at the hotel in La Fortuna around 2 pm.
