Mistico Park Hanging Bridges Tour

Dare to explore the canopy of the Costa Rican rainforest walking along the hanging bridges of the Arenal jungle. Choose to do the tour in the day or at night!

Tour Details

We'll meet at Mistico Park, the hanging bridges park in the province of Alajuela, at the time of your choice. This area is characterised by active volcanoes and tropical rainforests.

We'll make our way through the rainforest walking along 16 bridges, including six hanging bridges, ranging in length from five to 100 metres. Some are up to 60 metres above the ground. The 3 kilometre route will take us through the treetops of the Costa Rican jungle, offering views of the Arenal Volcano, the second most active volcano in Costa Rica.

During the tour, we'll learn about the plants and wildlife of the rainforest. If we're lucky, we might see red frogs, monkeys, and tropical birds.

At the end of the 2.5-hour tour of the hanging bridges, we'll say goodbye at the exit of the park.

Opening Times

Mistico Park is open from 8 am to 2 pm, with guided tours departing every hour. It also opens at 4:30 pm and 6 pm for special sunset and night tours.
