Quad Bike Tour of Arenal Volcano National Park
After being picked up from your hotel at your preferred time, you'll travel to the Arenal Volcano National Park, located just half an hour from La Fortuna. You'll hop onto your all-terrain vehicles, or ATVs, to explore the jungle surrounding the Arenal Volcano, which last erupted in 2010.
On your quad bikes, you'll navigate through the tropical landscapes of Costa Rica, driving along trails between the mountains and admiring views of the volcano, which rises 5,500 feet (1,670 metres) high. Look out for native wildlife such as white-faced Capuchin monkeys and sloths.
A stop at the river within the national park allows for a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters. You will also enjoy a delicious picnic of tropical fruits to replenish your energy after the adventure. Lastly, you will return to your hotel in La Fortuna, concluding the excursion.
What do I need for this tour?
No license is required to drive the quad bikes, but some driving experience is recommended.
