Venado Caves Trip
After picking you up at your hotel at the scheduled time, we will begin our adventure by heading to the Venado Caves, about 45 minutes from La Fortuna. These grottoes are about 15 million years old and were discovered by the Guatuso Indigenous Peoples.
After equipping ourselves with flashlights, headlamps, and waterproof clothing, we will descend into the depths of the earth to discover its mysteries. The interior of these caves features rocky formations such as stalactites and stalagmites where species like bats, crabs, and frogs inhabit.
During our two-hour tour, we will cross subterranean rivers and seabeds, observing natural sculptures known as the birth, papaya, coral, and altar. At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a fresh fruit snack before returning to our hotels.
