Venado Caves Trip
After picking you up at your hotel at the scheduled time, we will begin our adventure by heading to the Venado Caves, about 45 minutes from La Fortuna. These grottoes are approximately 15 million years old and were discovered by the Guatuso Indigenous Peoples.
After equipping ourselves with flashlights, headlamps, and waterproof clothing, we will descend into the caves to explore their features. The interior contains rocky formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, housing species like bats, crabs, and frogs.
During our two-hour tour, we will cross subterranean rivers and seabeds, observing natural sculptures including the birth, papaya, coral, and altar. After the tour, we will enjoy a fresh fruit snack before returning to our hotels.
