Ride the rapids of the Sarapiqui River at full speed through the Costa Rican jungle. A real adventure!
White Water Rafting on the Sarapiqui River
After pickup from your hotel in Arenal, we will drive for 50 minutes to the Sarapiqui River, known for its transport history since pre-Columbian times. The rafting trip begins near the La Virgen Bridge, following a safety talk from our expert guides. Participants will tackle class II and III rapids, including "Superman," "Ay Caramba," and "Confusion," suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters.
The white water rafting trip lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours, influenced by daily river flow variations. Participants can expect to see gorges, canyons, and waterfalls while observing local wildlife such as monkeys and toucans. After the adventure, we will return to dry land and offer a refreshing beer or juice before heading back to the hotels, arriving about 4.5 hours after the pickup.
