Chenonceau has strong ties to influential women of 15th-century France and is often called the "Château des Dames." With your ticket, you can explore the interiors, including the bedroom of the Five Queens and room of Catherine de' Medici, showcasing Italian and French Renaissance styles.
The second floor features rooms of Louise of Lorraine, decorated with macabre elements in memory of her husband, King Henry III. The ballroom features arches forming a bridge over the Cher river.
Your ticket also includes an English brochure with curiosities about the site. You will have access to the extensive gardens, including the hedge maze and the gardens of Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de' Medici.
