Frankfurt Christmas Market

Join us to explore Frankfurt during this magical season! We will meet at 11 am at the Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof department store. The twinkling Christmas lights will lead our way as we stroll through the city centre.

We will pass by traditional houses and pause to admire the intricately decorated shop windows, eagerly anticipating the arrival of St. Nicholas. Did you know that German children originally received their gifts on Nikolaustag (St. Nicholas' Day) on December 6th? This date still marks a festive occasion as we transition into Christmas. Our next stop will be Römerberg Square, regarded as one of the most beautiful locations in Frankfurt and home to its most popular Christmas market.

As we wander through the market, the aroma of cinnamon will fill the air, evoking a feeling as if we were in Lapland itself. We will explore stalls brimming with traditional German Christmas treats and take in the unique decorations that adorn the market.

No visit is complete without trying the classic mulled wine or a warm cup of hot chocolate. The tour will conclude at Römerberg Square at 1:30 pm.
