Rhein Main Card

The Rhein Main Card is a travelcard that provides free, unlimited access to the RMV public transport network within the Frankfurt metropolitan area. It allows travel on the airport train, regional trains, urban buses, trams, the metro, and night buses. The card facilitates exploration of historic cities such as Mainz and Rüdesheim am Rhein, known for their Roman heritage and wine production. It includes discounts on more than seventy tourist attractions, including museums, restaurants, spas, and Frankfurt's zoo.

Ticket Pickup

The Rhein Main Card can be picked up at the Römer Tourist Office. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sundays and holidays from 9 am to 4 pm. It is closed on January 1, December 25, and 26. On December 24 and 31, it opens from 9:30 am to 1 pm. Note that these hours are subject to change.

How does it work?

Your Rhein Main Card is valid for 2 consecutive days, starting from the day selected during reservation.

Children under 6

Children under 6 years old travel for free on the RMV transport network, so no Rhein Main Card is needed for them.
