Explore Freiburg's Christmas Market

At the specified time, we will meet at Freiburg Minster, located in the center of Freiburg. From there, we will proceed to the Freiburg Christmas Market, situated in Marktplatz.

Since its inception in 1973, the market features over 120 stalls, showcasing various crafts and treats each year. Upon entering, we will be greeted by the warm glow of thousands of twinkling Christmas lights, lighting up the charming streets of the old town.

As we explore the wooden stalls, we will find a range of products available for purchase, from handmade candles and pottery to intricately carved wooden toys and distinctive Christmas decorations. Local delicacies will also be present, including traditional mulled wine, grilled sausages, roasted chestnuts, and other regional specialties.

For children, the market offers craft workshops where they can make their own Christmas gifts. Additionally, live music and carol choirs fill the air, enhancing the holiday ambiance.

After a 1.5-hour exploration of the market, we will conclude our tour back in Marktplatz.
