Roque de los Muchachos Star Gazing

On this star gazing experience at Roque de los Muchachos, we'll learn about the stars that shine in the night sky over La Palma and enjoy a sunset.

Star Gazing in La Palma

We'll pick you up from the meeting point in La Palma that you select and travel to the highest part of the island. You will spot thousands of stars from Roque de Los Muchachos, located at 2426 metres (7960 feet). La Palma is recognized as one of the best places in Spain to go star gazing, with legally protected skies.

Upon arrival, we will admire the sunset from the peak and enjoy a glass of wine from the island. After sunset, we will proceed to a nearby viewpoint.

At the viewpoint, we will provide a guided explanation of the stars and constellations using a laser and an 11-inch Celestron telescope. We will explore solar systems, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. Additionally, we will discuss the moon and other visible planets.

After a total of 8 hours, we will return to the pickup points.
