Day Trip Details

The adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in downtown Funchal at the scheduled time. Afterward, we embark on a scenic hour-long journey in an offroading vehicle to the Rabaçal Valley.

Once in this remarkable area, prepare for a 3-hour hike through the scenic laurel forest, where you'll encounter hidden springs, stunning waterfalls, and the renowned levadas de Madeira. Discover the uniqueness of these historical irrigation channels during your hike. Post-hike, we return to the vehicle and head towards Paúl da Serra for a lunch break.

After refueling, we continue to the Cabo Girão cliff, the tallest in Europe. The glass viewpoint will test your nerves as you enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic coast and the nearby town of Câmara de Lobos.

At the conclusion of the trip, we will return to your hotel, wrapping up a delightful day after approximately 7 hours.

This tour includes a pickup from hotels and apartments located in the Funchal city center. If your accommodation is in other regions of the south, an additional supplement will be required on the day of the tour. Please be aware that no pickup service is available for locations in the northern part of the island.
