Day Trip Details

Pickup will be from your hotel in downtown Funchal at the designated time. An hour's journey in an offroading vehicle will take you to the Rabaçal Valley. In this area, a 3-hour hike will allow exploration of the laurel forest, where springs, waterfalls, and the famous levadas de Madeira are located. After the hike, participants will return to the vehicle to head to Paúl da Serra for a meal.

Next, the tour proceeds to the Cabo Girão cliff, the tallest in Europe with a glass viewpoint. Here, admire views of the Atlantic coast and the town of Câmara de Lobos.

The total duration of the trip is 7 hours, after which participants will be returned to their hotel.

This tour includes pickup from hotels and apartments in Funchal city center. For those staying in other areas of the south, an additional supplement must be paid on the day of the tour. Note that there is no pickup service in the north of the island.
